View full advertising & refund terms

Payment covers review of the submission and, if approved, the purchased advertising or promotional services. Submission and payment do not guarantee approval or publication. Learn more .

UpInLA does not generally issue refunds. Rejection of a submission before publication does not automatically entitle the Submitter to a refund. Any refund, credit, extension, replacement placement, rescheduling or other make-good is provided at UpInLA’s discretion, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Learn more .

Fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, unauthorized, abusive or rights-infringing submissions are not eligible for a refund except where applicable law requires otherwise. Learn more .

Once an approved listing or purchased promotional service becomes publicly accessible to its intended audience, delivery of that service has begun and the delivered service is generally non-refundable. Internal approval or scheduling alone does not constitute publication. Learn more .

Review, formatting, promotional preparation, Reel review, radio-copy preparation, scheduling and other fulfillment work may begin before public publication. Cancellation before publication does not create a refund right for work already performed or third-party costs already incurred. Learn more .

Cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, relocation or other changes to the event do not restart or extend the purchased advertising period and do not require already-delivered promotional services to be repeated. Learn more .

If UpInLA cannot materially deliver a purchased service, UpInLA may first correct, extend, reschedule, replace or provide an equivalent make-good. If the affected service cannot reasonably be delivered or cured, UpInLA may provide an appropriate refund for the affected undelivered service. Learn more .

If the organizer cancels a published event, UpInLA may, at its discretion, provide a non-stackable 20% discount toward one future event listing, valid for one month and with no cash value. Learn more .

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpInLA’s aggregate financial liability will not exceed the amount actually paid for the specific affected service. UpInLA is not responsible for lost revenue, ticket sales, attendance, event expenses or other indirect or business-related losses. Learn more .
